I enjoyed this paranormal/urban fantasy novel, although it is not my genre of choice. Entertaining and love the humor. I did not care much for the "romance" and thankfully, there wasn't much of it.The heroine tries to survive in an unfriendly world. She has to find out about her mysterious knowledge. Of course there is a lot of adventure, romance and mystery.The story reads fast and is never boring. I loved the book and I am looking forward to tom 2 of the Final Formula by Becca Andre.To be recommended.Aybi
A fast-paced story, part mystery, part alchemical fantasy, part romance. Addie is an easy character to empathize with: clever, kind and courageous. At least, that's what she is now, without her memories. She's also a master alchemist, or so the tattoos on her arms suggest. As Addie struggles to figure out who she was, and what to do with her rather supernatural frenemies, her past comes after her with a vengeance. I especially loved the alchemy side of things here, and just how awesome Addie is

I don't often stay up to finish a book, but I couldn't help myself this time. The Final Formula is a thrilling, surprising urban fantasy that is impossible to put down. The focus on alchemy (one of the least popular branches of magic in Urban Fantasy) is intriguing. Abby is a flawed fascinating heroine and Rowan and James are intriguing characters. There's humor, angst, and hairpin plot twists in this one, and the ending is absolutely fantastic. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of
I don't generally like books about modern magic, but this book was so well paced that it dragged me in from the very first page. The characters were well written, and I especially enjoyed the fact that they all had their flaws and imperfections. I also liked the refreshing notion that people can change because of the things they experience, and the change is not always for the worse.
