In my own way I believe that major events in one's life help form or contribute to who we are today whether it is good or bad. While reading " The Kite Runner", in the first chapter it says " I became what I am today at the age of twelve, on a frigid overcast day in winter of 1975" ( pg 1). When reading this it explains that a very important moment whether good or bad formed him into who he is today. In chapter one his old friend Rahim Khan called and asked him to come see him, when the call wasThe book, The Kite Runner was one of the best novels I have ever read in my life. Once I grabbed the book in my hand, I sat for hours and read. The novel begins with the recount of the relationship between Amir, who is a son of rich family and Hassan, son of servant in the house. They spend their childhood together and are best friends in someway, but their relationship is intricate, since Hassan is Amir's servant. Amir's father, Baba likes both Amir and Hassan, but is harsh to Amir sometimes

this my first time reading a novel in English..i starrted today, ddnt stop until i reached chapter 6..i dont know why i started it in such busy time with studying..i think am in luv with it..may b i can prove my english by starting to read english novels.. i mean written in english coz this novel is in Afghanistan..until know, i liked the little details describing the places and space. also, showing the real emotional feelings in the childhood relation between hassan and amir.to be cont. :)
