This was the fifth book I've read by this author, and I loved it every bit as much as all the others! It was so great to finally read the next installment in Bella and D.J.'s story! I knew what to expect from a Janice Thompson book, a fun story with quirky characters, that will have me rolling on the floor laughing while at the same time inspiring me and bringing me into a closer and deeper relationship with The Lord! I didnt read the first two books in the Weddings by Bella series, but it was easy to understand and follow along with this book. It is a good stand-alone book, but would probably be better if you read the others first. There are many things I like about this book. It took me far too long to get to the final installment of this wonderful series. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, but I have to admit that I thought a lot was going on and some readers may feel almost as overwhelmed as Bella. I think the author had a lot of subplots to tie up and with a couple of them she could have had almost enough to stretch into another book. It Had to be You was a nice ending to a fantastic series. It wasn't as packed with comical tragedy and zany situations as the first two books, so the pacing was a bit slower. It had some great "old people" humor and Bella was her usual lovable self. DJ was pretty amazing, too. This was not my favorite in the series, though. I'd have to say my fav was the second book, probably because this one dealt with wrapping up details more and winding down the series, so my emotions weren't as engaged in
