She is ridiculously smart and does well in her profession, the part of the brain that hasThis novel started out with the prospect of being a good thriller, however I soon became disappointed when I added up the cliches, repetitions and unbelievable aspects.The heroine, Kate, does not deeply question her circumstances and we hear little about her life after her air crash or initially about the injury resulting from that. It's not that this is bad, it's interesting enuf in the sample and I like the premise. But I'm just not in the mood to read about 2 people who are supposed to be together, love of each other's lives and all that, start off right after scenes (for him anyway) of having sex with someone else. I get it, I do, but just not in the mood to read that.
This is a pretty good story. Not my first book by Elisabeth Naughton, Ive read a book in her other series, but I think I liked this more. The plot is really good. And, lets be honest, for a book in this genre, its something to say. What's even stranger, I really liked it although I usually do not like the idea of amnesia in my books. Spoiler-free review. (And there's a lot to spoil.) Wait For Me is so seriously implausible, you might want to think of it as science fiction rather than romantic suspense. (I was, in fact, strongly reminded of a particular episode of "Star Trek: Voyager.")
