This book is full of information about sea turtles. I thought it was very educational and very simple to understand. I loved the authors writing style because it made it really fun to read. I learned about the eight different types of sea turtles, what they look like, what they eat, and so much more. For example, now I know that sea turtle have no teeth and no ears! I also didn't know that they are cold blooded and can go months without food! I never knew how interesting sea turtle could be. Itthis was a good book for kids that want to know more about turtles. I won this book on goodreads site.

Five stars: A terrific educational read on the sea turtle! This is an excellent companion book to I'll Follow the Moon. While I'll Follow the Moon is geared for the youngest readers, the sequel is for a bit older reader. Be prepared to be immersed in the turtle world as you learn about the eight different species of turtle, their habits, environment, diet, senses, mating, and all the fun facts and such that will leave you well versed on turtles. I applaud Ms. Tara for taking the time to write
I absolutely loved Stephanie Lisa Tara's book, I'll Follow the Moon, as did my little guys, so needless to say I was thrilled to find that she had written the Turtle Book. The Turtle Book is filled with real life photos, information and facts about sea turtles, and is a virtual little encyclopedia that your young reader can enjoy. The turtle book also has the capacity to grown with your child, featuring wonderful full color images and a fun flip-book for when they are small, then as they grow,
This book would make a great gift to anyone with an interest in nature and wildlife. I love turtles of all kinds and I found the book fascinating, even though I'm older than dirt and I realize the book was intended for younger readers. I did want to mention that the words "Turtle Book" on the cover appear just a tad fuzzy, and that detracts from the appearance. Otherwise, very well done! Thank you for sending my copy so quickly after my Goodreads First Reads Giveaway win.
This book was so fun to read and look through. It has so many amazing facts about all the different sea turtles and wonderful colorful photos. Besides being a very informative book, the way it's written is very fun and the author really makes it easy to understand. Her personality shows through in the writing and instead of feeling like an educational book, it's more like something you would pick up over and over again.From a child's perspective, this book is also great. It has a cool flip book
