I truly enjoy Dana Marton's stories and Deathblow did not disappoint. This romantic suspense is full of sexy men, strong women and enough action to keep a women turning pages. Joe Kessler has been one of my favorite characters from the moment he was first introduced in the series and I am very glad that he was able to get his own story. A very good romantic suspense novel involving a cop and a woman in a very abusive relationship (who has a child from that relationship) who is very reluctant to get involved again with anyone. But, she finds herself pregnant again after a one night stand with the cop. The cop is trying to keep the woman and her child safe, trying to come to come to grips with the fact that he is going to be a dad and also being undercover trying to stop a gang war.
