Commentary Toward Books The Coppersmith Farmhouse (Jamison Valley #1)

One old farmhouse brought them together. It could also tear them apart. Gigi has just uprooted her whole world to start a new life. The unexpected gift of a farmhouse in small-town Montana is just what she and her daughter need to escape big-city loneliness. The last thing she needs is attitude from the town’s sheriff, the most perfectly attractive and ruggedly handsome man she’s ever laid eyes on—and a complete jerk. Jess knows all about women like Gigi. Beautiful. Sexy. Scheming. She’s stolen his sanctuary, the farmhouse that should have been his. But along with a face full of freckles, she’s got a sharp wit and a backbone of steel—something he doesn’t discover until after making a complete fool of himself. If he can earn back her trust and win her heart, he might just find the home he’s always needed.

5 swoony starsAlert!!! Up and coming brand new author! Prepare to be amazed and to swoon over sheriff Cleary. If you read: I opened my mouth to ask what was going on but the words got stuck in the back of my throat. My brain short-circuited. All of my attention was focused on the man standing right in front of me. Seated on my stool, I had to tip my head way back to examine his face. I blinked a few times because this man was so ruggedly handsome I had to be imagining him. ()What catapulted him

Narrator Review: The narrator was excellent. Great voice and easily distinguished between the characters.Story Review: Loved❤loved❤loved!I love the caveman Alpha, but it sure is hard to find a book with one that doesn't have an over-the-top storyline right along with it. This was the perfect blend of a great story, strong, likeable heroine and my favorite type of alpha. The best part is, he wasn't being a caveman just because he could. He had reason for taking charge, but he also showed growth

Pretty awesome read! OTT alpha hero, sweet single mom h, steamy sex scenes and completely safe! This book had me hooked from the start and also had me very interested in the upcoming books in this series! Great start to the series and can wait for more!

Where to start!! I liked it but didn't love it. This book should have been perfect for me. An OTT possessive alpha paired with a nice and occasionally sassy h, mix in an adorable kid, and this book should have been a big LOVE for me. But something about it didn't totally pull me in. It had a KA vibe to it and I love KA. I'm guessing this is a "me" thing as a lot of my friends really liked this one.

4 stars! The Coppersmith Farmhouse is a book that has been recommended to me multiple times by many friends. Im glad I made the time to read it. It was a great debut novel! It had a strong alpha male, a single mom, it was steamy, sweet, and had an element of suspense. Ill definitely be reading more from this author! Just as a side note, I wish I would have read the book instead of listening to it. There was so much feedback in the audio, you could hear pages flipping, weird noise and squeals

3 StarsOverall Opinion: This was an ok read. I thought it felt slow at times, but I never skimmed. I also didn't necessarily like either mc, so that was a big issue for me! I do agree with a GR friend that it had the same feel as a KA book, but it just didn't quite get there for me in meeting its potential. The h's daughter was cute, and her relationship with the H was fun to read. I also didn't necessarily mind the side characters, so I might give their book a chance...maybe. I didn't hate it,

SQUEEE!!! I just read this book by a completely new-to-me author and IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! It was like pure old-school indie romance heaven! The hero is an ALPHA sheriff who is grouchy at times but also incredibly protective, possessive, and SWOOOOOONY! And the heroine is a SINGLE MOM of a gorgeous little daughter who move into his town to start their lives over. MY HEART WAS RACING for so much of the story!! I LOVED these characters. I CARED for them! The romance was HOT, the writing was STRONG,
