I saw Billy Graham at Roker Park in Sunderland some 30plus years ago, so was very much looking forward to reading his biography and I was not dissapointed. The book is an easy read and you feel the author knows Billy wellI have vivid memories from my childhood years of a man on television preaching in a commanding voice to the television audience and the large crowds of people present wherever he spoke. Even then, I wondered at my parent's choice of programming. Weren't the Sunday church sermons enough? Raised in a strict Catholic home, I'd heard more than once that my church was the only way to heaven, and this man was not Catholic. I loved the audio version of the book. The Narrator's voice was pleasant and easy to hear. The various voice patterns for each person added excitement for the listener.Nevertheless, the narrator wouldn't have the material to read without the wonderful, well-thought-out words of Terry Whalin. Terry uses descriptive words; giving the reader an in-depth view of Dr. Graham's life. The flow of the book from childhood to an aged and delightful man was enlightening.
